Before reaching the still working drawbridge of Hammond Castle Museum you will need to walk through the castle's bell tower, which to this day still sounds on the hour. This photo was taken in late afternoon and as the sun slowly made its way to the horizon rays of light shone through the open archway of the bell tower creating an even more warm welcome.
