John Hammond, Jr. purchased a broad collection of antiques and artifacts for display throughout Hammond Castle's many rooms. This carved wooden statue sits in the Renaissance style dining room of the castle, located just off of the courtyard, which can be seen in the background. This statue is just one of many stand alone classical antiquities dated through the 16th century, found in Hammond's vast collection.
