Gullfoss is one of Iceland's most iconic waterfalls, located in the Hvítá river canyon in Southwest Iceland. This picture was taken during the late afternoon of a winter' day. Although snow and ice cover the entire land, this waterfall's flow is so powerful that even the frigid winds and low temperatures of Iceland cannot stop it.
