Hammond Castle's round library room, otherwise know as the Whisper Room because of the amazing acoustics created by the domed ceiling which allows one to hear a mere whisper from across the room. Designed by famed interior designer (and Hammond’s close personal friend) Henry Davis Sleeper, this room is strikingly similar to the library in Sleeper’s summer mansion, Beauport, which is also a museum and is situated across the water from Hammond Castle.
